I am off to teneriffe shortly to lorro park ,mount tide,etc, would it be worth taking my niffty 50 lens and leave it on ; would this lens to the job for what i need ? or is it just for portraits.?. thanks.

:shrug:newbie help reqd, i have a nikon 50mm 1.8 lens,when fixed to my nikon d40 what camera setting would be best to use. any advice most welcome. cheers
