I would go for the d7100. It would be a big improvment over the d5300. The autofocus system on the 7100 is fantastic. As for the commebt above about the 7000. I upgraded from a 7000 to a 7100 and I have to say tgere is a big difference all round. From iso noise performance to autofocus...
Just picked up a pro 10s today. O ly done one print but got to say I'm well impressed. I bought it on impulse due to the price lce in Lincoln were doing them for.
199 for the 100
299 for the 10
325 for the 1
I chose the 10 as wanted pigment inks. Didn't get the 1 as don't really print black...
Hi Simon,
Not from the loop but heres a few i took at RAF Coningsby. Ive got to say it was absolutely brilliant for jet photography, especially with the extra length over say a 300. It didnt struggle in the bad light either on my D7100 as you can see it was very miserable weather in some shots...
Had this lens a few week now. Mainly use it for birding. Starting to get the hang of it and I must say it's a cracking lens for the money. Thought I'd leave some shots here I took yesterday. They are high-ish res images so you can see the detail this lens can produce.

Ive tried my yongnuo triggers on both a set of cheap interfit studio flashes and a portable quantuum flash head. Using both a nikon d7100 and d810 I can Sync up to 1/8000.
Hope this helps.
I've got the latest sigma 105 and I couldn't recommend it any higher. It produces lovely sharp and contrasty images. If you can stretch to the budget of it, I paid 370 I think, then I would go for it.
Jessops did my partners d3 sensor. Charged £50 for a 1 hour service. You can have a 2 day turn around for £30. He cleaned the view finder and pentaprism also. They are also insured against scratching the sensor. I have to say he did a great job and I was happy with the service.
With such a large zoom range on that lens, I would expect some softness at the longer end. I've had a few 500mm sigmas in the past and they are the same. Just pull it back to about 550-575 and they will sharpen right up. I know it's bought for its 600mm capability but it's just one of those...
Hello,
Does anyone know roughly what nikon would charge to service and clean my 80-200 f2.8 two touch?
It's got a fair bit of internal dust and I'd just like it it to be clean like when new.
Thanks
Hello all,
I've been snooping on this forum for a few weeks and thought I would finally sign up. I've been into photography for probably the last 15 years. I've only really took a massive interest in it over the last 5 years. I mainly do it as a hobby but have done a few small paid jobs. Im...
