Indoor Karting - Flash etiquette & lens advice?

I wouldn't imagine they will mind, or perhaps even notice. They will be looking at the track and the other karts, not your flash bulb.

Nikon 35mm 1.8 on 35mm film or FX

Hi all Got a F4 and the 35mm 1.8 and shot a roll through it, came out ok, not too much vignetting. I kept the aperture at 1.8-2.8, stupidly I should have tested various settings. Was trying to load this page which extensively details the effects of this lens on a full frame body ...

Yongnuo yn465. Does it work with Nikon F4?

Just got a yn465 for my D40. Will this flash also work with my F4 which should be arriving shortly? If not what is a good flash for the F4, that can ideally be used also with my D40 or as a slave flash?

    iPhone 8GB enough?

Forget iphone3. Get iphone4. If you wait a momnth or so you may find a nice deal as apple are rumoured to be announcing a new iphone or 2 very soon. 500MB per month will be plenty enough, especially if you have wifi in your house. I've used only 600 meg since october and I use it a lot. Most...

BBC: F1 big picture - Sebastian Vettel

with a shutter speed of 1/400th and the focal length of 600mm is that not a recipe for blurryness due to slow shutter? How has the photographer avoided that?

    Book scanner with digital cameras

To add I'd also be wary of using dslr to capture pages as they are only rated for a couple hundred thousand actuations - depending what you want to scan this could be a limit or not.

    Book scanner with digital cameras

Hi I expect you could get coated glass from a glazier. But I don't think it's strictly needed if you take care with your lighting I just mean regarding the lights you don't want to be beside eg a window as the light will change. Don't work beside a door way that let's light in when people go...

    Book scanner with digital cameras

I'm quite familiar with real book scanners costing tens of thousands of pounds and generally what you are paying for is high reliability, consistancy, build quality, ease of use/setup/size support / good post processing software etc etc. Compared to just using some digital cameras setup at a...

Shooting College Dance Students - Tomorrow

Hi the option on the d40 is sync to fire at the start, and rear at the end, but I don't think there is a setting that will do both start and end- is there? Is this camera specific ie if One upgraded the flash can other flash units do it?

    Cant get decent indoors photos.

Try just using a bit of a4 White paper maybe folded in half and just angle it Between the flash and the roof/ wall etc. Fire a few shoots off and you should see a much nicer light. This should convince you that you need a better flash unit.

Isn't 'rear' the same as second curtain flash anyway?
