I generally don't like working with AVCHD, it tends to be a funny format, and I will always convert it to a much more workable format.

Hey guys, what would you guys say is a really good sub £100 small camera with a good fps shoot at a decent picture. I;ll be mainly using it for snowboarding, and other sports, so being able to get crisp clear pictures is the main thing. thanks

Totally agree here. However, I would be inclined to say get a Zoom H2. I use them at uni a lot, and they do have great settings and also sound reasonably good.

I'd say go with the Canon. Whilst it is a great camera, it also has the best name (well in the US anyway) EOS T2i Rebel, I wish it was called that over here aswell.

Full Hollywood movies have been made with DIY lighting. Robert Rodriguez made a documentary explaining how to really keep a tight budget when making a movie, it explains a lot in it. Just a matter of where you put the light and how you use it.

Looks really good. I thought it'd be much harder to make the dolly, but you make it sound pretty simple, and fairly cheap. I might have a look myself at making one.

Gotta agree here, you can make your own for so much cheaper. And it's fun to make stuff :D
