Morning all,
My wife and I have started doing a lot more walking and there are lots of shots I'm looking at that will require me laying down, I wondered if anyone had suggestions of clothing? Essentially I need something that won't make me boil but will keep me dry when I lay down or get...
Hi there, does anyone know how the Cannon sx50 manages a macro distance of less than a centimetre? It doesn't strike me as physically possible.
cheers
Thom
Hi guys thanks for the advice, normally I'd do exactly as you've suggested but as you say it's no longer available through jessops so can't see it other than online. It's at a bargain price but only if it's any good.
Hi there, does anybody rate this backpack at all? I keep seeing it advertised but there isn't any reviews about and the only photo I can see is of the outside. It sounds big enough for what I need but without seeing the interior I've no idea.
Thanks
Being honest I found the same thing with my A200 despite some apparently bloody good lenses. I now shoot a Canon 30d as I got infuriated with the Sony, however folks on here looked at my flickr images and said they were just fine.
Try youtube, a lot of photography who do lectures put snippets on there along with their ite details to get more. I found a stack of stuff on there and then went to various sites to get longer sections and in some cases full DVD things.

thanks Photon, like I said earlier I can't see how they can give a time for 'actual' because if you're careful like you say and turn off or don't use zoom it'll vary.
I was thinking that but then I couldn't understand how they could give a time for 'actual' as that would depend on how much you used the zoom and so forth and whether you closed the screen during recording. It's an odd system I feel. I guess she'll find out when she tries using it properly...
A colleague has just purchased a new JVC camcorder and in the instruction book it lists battery life for "actual recording time" as 50 mins and "continuous recording time" 90 mins.
Can someone possible tell me what the difference is as I think 50mins is a little short in this day and age...
As someone who attends the event as a punter rather than a photographer the alternate dates are 1st to the 4th April and Halloween weekend in October. The event in October is coinciding with the Bram Stoker International Film festival so there could be some other non-goth regalia there too.
I really like Bryan Petersons stuff, I've got his 'Perfect Picture' dvd and it's great for beginners. I too follow Karl Taylor on Youtube and Bryan too for that matter. Great guys to get tips from.
Just my opinion of course. :)
Hi guys, I wonder if anyone has any advice please? I've been asked to photograph an event for work but it won't be just portrait type shots of people after the meetings it'll be during the talks and presentations and the like. I can't seem to find any information on doing this part of...
Personally for me it's the Sony Alpha 200, cheap as anything when it came out and had all the specs and quality of Nikon and Canon equivalent but for considerably less. I'm still using mine instead of a good couple of years of upgrades.
Just my tuppence.
