Sigma 150-500mm f5-6.3 DG OS HSM Lens. Had one of these, good lens in good light. Early version that I had suffered from lens creep, where the lens zoomed out on the camera when held in downward position, bar that got some cracking in-flight photo's at air shows with it :-)

I'd recommend the VR2 I have the VR1 and it's the dogs danglys :-)

A Sigma 170-500mm should be in your price range. I used to have one was very good at air shows Dougie

You need to buy a Nikon BL-3 Adapter to take the EN-EL4 Batteries Just done a Google search and they're about £26 maybe less on fleabay. Hope this helps? Dougie
