Hi...from the Land of Concrete Cows & Roundabouts

Quite an interesting little group who do have regular meets around MK, although I keep getting side-tracked and keep missing them! Don't know if any are in the New City Photographic Club, which I've just started attending as a Visitor.

Hi...from the Land of Concrete Cows & Roundabouts

Hi Mark - Yes, I'd heard about this one ( http://www.destinationmiltonkeynes.co.uk/Visit_us/Sports_and_activities/red_bull_racing_milton_keynes_2011 ) and I've downloaded the map. Not sure if I should base myself at the F1 Paddock or Midsummer Place where they'll be selling goodies! Think I'll...

The Goodyear Blimp back in the UK

Those airship sheds are darn big. They used to use them for fire training and, if the conditions are right it can actually snow inside them but no outside!

Hi Gramps. Well, I'll take your picture as you fall but it'll be from ground level as thats where I normally end up in the snow and ice!!

    Dartmouth Regatta: Anyone been

Bit late now, as I've only just joined the site, but Jawbones would probably be the best bet. I've only been to a couple of Regattas in the past, once when I was so small my dad gave me a piggy-back so I could see the fireworks at the Boat Float and another time I wasn't into photography so did...

Ive never really liked Jeremy Clarkson ...

'He who screams the loudest wins'. These 6 words simply mean that whoever makes the biggest fuss wins; the PC Brigade, as the media has labelled them, know that if they scream and stomp the loudest they will drown out everyone else and only their voices will be heard. Sadly the Political...

Hi...from the Land of Concrete Cows & Roundabouts

Hi Everyone - Yep, another Newbie drags himself in from the cold and drops down beside the fire. Obviously I have an interest in photography, if not then of course I'd not bother being here! :D In my arsenal I have, at my disposel, a couple of K5's and an X100; shame I don't have the skills...
