I think that whilst many car parks do appear to have way more disabled spaces than will ever be needed at once they are there for use by blue badge holders only. I generally prefer to park as far away as possible in a car park away from other motorists. It might mean a little longer walk, maybe...
There's nothing wrong with RAID 1, mirroring as it just mirrors one disc to another. Striped RAID 2 etc is faster but you'll lose data if a drive goes down. Many home PC's support RAID1. Just don't get confused with the other RAIDS.
Went last March to both Havana and some more remote beach type resort whose name escapes me at the moment. Wandered around Havana quite happily but didn't go to any show. Went to Varaddero for the day which was OK as we went around some of the more locals areas. If you follow my link below...
Not sure if anyone has posted this before (apologies if they have). Found this video which was created entirely from 45,000 Photographs taken by a Nikon D200 DSLR. This Photographs were stitched together to create the illusion of video. I wonder how many bodies they went through...
Pretty impressive, can't think it would personally be that useful but people thought that about cameras and video in mobiles. It's more the fact that you can even if you never use it. I think it would have been better integrated into the 50D though rather than the 5DMKII.
You can always push the 3200 to 6400 and beyond to make it granier. T-Max is particularly fine grain film. Also maybe shoot on 35mm as 6x6 is a bit big to make enlargements from, again blow up a 35mm neg and watch the grain!
My wife went to a funeral the other year where it became apparant the diggers had dug the hole in the wrong plave (next to someone the relative detested). The funeral had to be delayed whilst they dug a new hole!
Haven't found Exposure check yet and i've had it for a year!
Most used functions are AEB and the shutter! Sensor cleaning is handy but have had to remove a few big bogeys from the sensor but it's easy enough to do.
I don't care if a 50D is now available the 40D is fine for me.
One of the best tracks for photography! Anywhere pretty much is good but my personal favourites are the last corner before the main start/finish straight and Knickerbrook. Been several times but hired a 100-400 Canon lens last time which was top. Follow my link at the bottom and have a look...
Av works well for me, though P is good most of the time. Av works well with my lenses by stopping down a bit it helps sharpen things up a bit. Have made the mistake of taking a whole load of motorsport pics in P though which when trying to pan never produces decent pics.
I think we are slightly missing the point. For top end, super fast, lots of af points/fps etc Canon has the 1 series. The 5D MK1/2 is not designed or aimed at sports togs, people who want to shoot 100 frames at 6fps it's designed for that rare breed or photographers who take their time to...
Graphics cards aren't hugely important unless you play games. It always amazes me how many processes go on without you realising or that you need. Made the world of difference to my old pc, well that and ditching Norton Anti Virus.
Your registry is probably all over the place too but don't...
Been twice, both pre 9/11. Never had any problems carrying gear before. Usual rules apply, crime is pretty low in the tourist areas but be sensible and just make sure it's insured. At the end of the day if someone wants your gear just give it to them. Wandering around blatently carrying a camera...
