My D3000 was horrendous for it and I made it worse by using a Rocket Blower.
My D7100 also had some bits and bobs in it but I never did anything about it.
I suspect I was just noticing it as I was looking at the sky. Maybe if I'd managed to get Jets in the frame instead of sky I wouldn't have...
I was taking some pictures of the Red Arrows yesterday and I noticed a tiny speck of dust in the bottom left hand corner of the View Finder.
It's not causing any issue on my images, just a bit annoying.
I can see the general concensus is to not to worry about this kind of thing, is that right...
I did notice that @JYC
I had also read that VC doesn't help for Motorsport. Luckily it looks like I may be going a few more times this year when I normally only go once, so at least I'll get some practice.
Thanks, a 70-200 is on my wish list but may need to save up for a while :(
Thanks, I'm hoping to get back for the Superbikes in June and hopefully I can push the shutter speeds a bit slower.
Here are some shots that I took at Knockhill on 1st May. It's usually extremely busy when I am there so it was quite nice to have a choice of where to shoot.
All of these were taken with my D750 and Tamron 70-300. Do feel I maybe need to invest in the VC version as I just have the cheap £100...
I'm hoping to go to this also but probably just for the qualifying day, really can't be bothered with how busy it will be on the Sunday. We go to the full weekend of the BTCC and Sundays at these things are so busy, I think I can only cope with that once a year :D
We went down for the Scottish...
Thought I would post a shot from last night when I messing around using the tilting screen to make low composition a bit easier.
This was taken at ISO 320 but I did take one at ISO 2000 and was surprised that I couldn't see a spot of noise in Lightroom. Must just be used to how much noise there...
I've got a Sandisk Extreme Pro 95mb/s coming tomorrow.
I've only bought one at the moment.
Don't know whether to get a second for slot 2 or whether to get a normal Extreme in there.
I've been in contact with Grays of Westminster about this and they have advised that Kingston cards are not great in the newer Nikon bodies and they've recommended that I stick with SanDisk or Lexar.
Slightly annoyed as I though these would be good ones as I had used really cheap PNY ones in my...
Thanks Chris.
I've checked my firmware this morning and it says:
C. 1.10
L. 2.009
From what I can see that's the latest versions?
The only other thing to rule out is the card I guess? I'm not using their "recommended" cards but I didn't think that would make a huge difference?
I've noticed a couple of issues with files being saved by the D750.
The other day I imported files in to Lightroom and I couldn't work on one of the RAW files as it said "Unexpected End of File".
Also tonight, I fired a could of shots on quick succession and when I viewed them on the computer...
