This has honestly blown me away

Maybe I have lived in a hole a little then haha I know this sort of stuff has been done before but it's the sheer ease at which it does it and takes in to account the direction of light already in a still picture, that's the bit that blew me away. Maybe I am easily impressed :-)

I can see a future where you won't need a camera. This, for me, is a vision of a future I didn't think I would see for a long time. http://kevinkarsch.com/publications/sa11.html

Dude, that duplicate and drag works brilliantly. Thanks again :-)

    Aperture help needed

Yeah I kinda knew that's what it may end up being. That's why I thought about going to Lightroom now, while I had the chance to redo all the photo folder structure. Other option I suppose is to back up all the photos I currently have and start Aperture afresh......Either way, thanks for your...

OK The new project and move items, worked a treat but I am now in the position where I need to move a load of photos, from the To Be Sorted folder to existing projects.!!

Originally I was creating albums but now it's all projects with albums inside. So I will have a project for Family and Friends and then albums inside that to show events or occasions. I will give your idea above, a try, when I get home....In about 90 minutes or so. :-)

Yes, pop the card straight in to my USB reader and import. Is there a better way of doing it then.?? Should I copy from card to desktop and the import to Aperture?

    Aperture help needed

Really??? Mine drops it in to the new project but leaves one in the To Be Sorted folder. Then I can't delete without it deleting all of them. Says something about others that rely on these masters. I understand the concept of deleting a master deletes the versions etc etc but why it won't let me...

Nikon D7000 and the SB900 Flash Help!!

Hi Have the kit as above. The flash is a new thing for me and I am trying to get to grips with as much of it as I can. One of the things I like is the rear curtain type flash, where it keeps the ambient light behind a subject as well as the subject itself. My issue is, when the camera is in...

    Aperture help needed

Hi All, I have an annoying thing happening on Aperture, that I know is down to lack of knowledge on the product but it's now driving me so mad, I am actually thinking of giving it up and going Lightroom. If I can sort this out, I will be happier. For a while now I have shot various...

    They're taking over!!!!!!!

Hahaha Mike, I feel for you there. As much as I hate the thought of an infestation, I would never go as far as to cause harm to any of my family. I was the only one in there and kept the doors closed, so it was ok. OK I think this thread needs to stop before it becomes more about individual...

    They're taking over!!!!!!!

Sigh!!!!! Here we go....... Not quite Dean. This was last night, so I left them for a while and then went in, swept them up and cleaned down the whole place with Antibac. My concern was the next morning, when the kids actually did eat in there but, of course they wouldn't have done, if they were...

    They're taking over!!!!!!!

Yeah I knew I would get some people coming back from the hoverfly conservation society and I respect your views but when I have a 4 year old and a newborn, it isn't funny. Our main dining table is in the conservatory....we eat in there!!!!!!! A few I wouldn't mind but there were loads. I know...

    They're taking over!!!!!!!

This is aimed at the UK only, i'm afraid.!!!! Has anyone noticed the infestation of HoverFlies lately. Last night, I blasted my conservatory, with RAID, and ended up sweeping over 30 of the damn things. Looked in the back garden this morning and they're everywhere. All over the flowers, all...

    baby portrait big help needed

Hahaha No mate. You need to buy what suits YOU. The 85mm is what my choice is as a Nokia user. You have canon. If you're on a budget, you'd be best to get the Nifty Fifty (50mm obviously) as that is really and a great lens for the money. Think it's about £70 or so. Also, as it's a prime lens...
