Sawman your speed shot is a little bit too 'busy' for me, with those foreground trees. Perhaps a different angle or bit closer might've worked better? I like your interpretation of the theme though.
Holryn simple but very effective shot.
Could you explain the lighting/background set up? I'm trying to get that kind of effect with indoor shots but can't get there :(
Sarah, love that composite image, skilled use of photoshop again!
I agree with your comment on shot 2, something just doesn't look quite right with the hand.
Week5- Speed
slow shutter speed! Yes I know... couldn't come up with anything else, and I was lagging behind!
Does anyone have any idea how I can tone down the noise in the sky? No idea why its come out like that :/
Edit: A bit of selective levels adjustment seems to have fixed it. I guess...
Jean thanks for your kind comments.
I'm a bit of a sucker for selective colouring :D My shots so far have suited it really well so why not! I hope I might've converted a few people.
Some others from week 4 that didn't make the cut :)
I know some people won't like the selective colouring, I guess it's a marmite thing!
C&C welcome, be as harsh as you like it's the only way I'll improve!
Hopeful, click your clone tool, and then use 'alt' to sample an area, then when you click a different area it will replace that with what you've sampled. As you move aorund it will sample relative to where you originally set the point, hope that helps!
