Ive done a lot of low light photography in places like Norway - i've always found that over 800-1000 the shadows start to suffer. I've found a great number of other togs have suffered in the past. The 6D has no issues up to 6400 which is the reason for the purchase.....
Looking at getting a light but sturdy travel tripod for backpacking around Iceland next year. Been looking at either the Gitzo GT3542LS or the GT3541 Mountaineer. Has anyone got any feedback on these or maybe a different option?
Thanks
Just made the plunge and swapped my 5D for the 6D - mainly due to the low light and ability to increase ISO to 6400 without issues. Fed up of the 5D melting at ISO 800. Be interested to hear if anyone else has done this and what your initial thoughts are?
