my mum is taking my nephiew to disneyland and is looking for a decent compact to take , preferably something with a decent zoom so she can take pics of him on the rides . she currently has a lumix dmcfx33 but it isnt any good for night time shots. any suggestions ? thanks Dan.

wondering if anybody can help ? ive got elements 9 and ive been trying to double process a raw file but for some reason it wont open up a second time for me to process again .ive tried clicking open recent and ive also tried to open it again from the original folder but niether option will...

yeah i think this is the route i will take,may as well shoot in raw.

yeah it is listed as prameters , had a little play with them after work today.will spend a bit more time on it tommorow.would photoshop elements be preferable over the canon pp software ?

yeah i was thinking about pp using raw, but i didnt get the pp software disc with my 2nd hand camera, so i think i will try the suggested manual alterations until i get hold of a disc.ive tried the contrast ,sharpness etc settings so will try some different wb settings.on a side note does...

im new to photography and still learning the basics .im going to thailand at xmas and i really want to capture the vibrancy of the country, the pics ive been taking so far have not been that bright .does anybody have any suggestions for settings for my 350d that will help me achieve this ?

im travelling to thailand for a month at xmas and was wondering what others do with regards to safeguarding thier photos incase of camera theft. any suggestions other than burning to disc ?

can anybody tell me what would give me better macro shots on a budget, extension tubes or something like a raynox additional lens ? thanks for any help.

right i will go for a 2nd hand dslr then,been doing some reading and it seems like a bridge might just be a waste of time.going to go to the specialist camera shop in brighton tomorow to get a feel for the d40.thanks for your help guys.

Right i think i am going to go with the finepix s1500. i have read quite a few reviews and this seems to be a good starting camera with regards to learning controls etc.also says the macro setting is pretty good,just need to know if i can get an additional macro lens with this ? and would i need...
