I was very wary of vista print after being stung by them a few years back, last time I ordered though I paid via paypal and haven't seen any money go walkies yet!
As above, they are only around 30cm tall if that & not extendable, i wouldn't dream of using it as my main tripod, I just don't want to carry my tripod around with me on holiday!
Don't think ill be wrapping mine around any hand rails...the thought of seeing my camera drop aint worth it!
& it's just the slr version according to the packagin :)
Its just the slr version i've bought, im slightly confused however as according to the website it only holds 800g, according to the packaging 1100g...
Anyway, I will get a better chance to test it tonight :-)
Have just bought a gorilla pod slr, was just wondering everyone's thoughts on them?
I've mainly bought it as I'm going away in may & want to take a tripod with me however can't afford the weight of carrying my big one around with me.
I had a quick look at it this morning when it arrived &...
I have been twice, once when I was 11, once for our honeymoon (aged 21!)
I love it! I would however reccomend going to one of the disney hotels & going half board - at least then you know you will have a meal at the end of the day & it will already be paid for.
The prices are extortionate...
Thanks all, hopefully I will have time to play with it over the weekend, I have just had the canon a week & made it the top lens on my shopping list after reading about them on here.
Not had any problems (touch wood) this year, before christmas they were shocking though, might as well have sent things I sent 1st class 2nd class as it was taking just as long!
I wanted a canon 400d originally however but could not afford it & when I was looking last year a Nikon D40 came up reasonably priced so I went for that.
Now I'm in the canon world though I don't think I'll be going back!
