Digging around in drawers the other day I have found a Zeiss Ikon camera. I have seen that there are many different versions. Is there a way of working out which model the camera is? Cheers Liam

    Misty woodlands

Taken yesterday in our local woodland in Great Garwood Lancashire. Looked around for a while to fine something other than straight up vertical trees. Thought it contrasted well with the straight lines of the other trees. Although i should have moved slightly to get the tree creeping in from the...

    Disc film

Having a little problem. Got the film, put it in the camera. Put the batteries in and nothing is happening. Supposed to have a light on to show it's ready, and nothing! Can't play around with it either as i've put film into it now. Shutter button a little sticky as well.

Why are Samsung's NX series of cameras/lenses not more loved?

I've just bought an NX-10 in a charity shop for £25. Doesn't look like it's ever been used. Looking forward to having a play with it

    Disc film

Hi All, While trawling charity shops at the weekend, i picked up a REGULA DISC MX camera. Main reason i picked it up, was i'd never seen one before and it was still in it's original box. Can you still get disc film anywhere? Would love to try it out. Thanks in advance. Liam

What is your favourite ever motorsport shot?

Hi All, I've been trying to cull some of the thousands of pictures I've taken of cars, bikes etc over the years and decided to look through what was left and pick out a favourite. The one below has got to be what I consider the best motorsport shot I've ever taken. Sat in the grandstand at...

    Shooting Moto GP at Assen

Sorry Russy, haven't been on here for a while. Absolutely loved it at Assen. It was great for taking photographs, and much much better than Silverstone for photography. Silverstone has now become crazily safety conscious with barriers/fencing etc. I will try to get some shots posted later.

    Dynax 7000i lens issue

Just purchased a 2nd hand Dynax 7000i with 35-70 lens, and purchased a 70-210 sigma apo lens to go with it. Both from a shop that was closing down. The camera and small lens are fine, but when i fit the large zoom onto the body the camera won't even turn on. Any ideas? The lens doesn't even...

    Photographic speakers

Looking for ideas on which speakers to book for next years camera club lectures. We are in Blackburn, Lancashire and would be looking for recommendations for speakers in the north west area. Any good stories of well presented lectures/club nights would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...
