I've tried claiming the free delivery but it keeps saying that it's not valid for my order? It's a lens just under £700 and you say its free delivery on everything until tonight??

I'm looking at upgrading my camera body and looking at buying from HDEW. It's put me at ease reading about somebody who has had issues and the supplier resolving the issue like this. Thanks for posting, it's put my mind at ease a bit and i'll probably buy from them.

I've only bought one item off them but it was a Sigma 35mm f1.4 (approx £580?) and they were faultless. The delivery was pretty quick from what i remember and once i had paid the import duty and filled the form in on their site they had refunded me the duty within a couple of hours.

Be careful what you are buying too. I went to Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and Hong Kong earlier in the year. Even in "proper" looking shopping malls there are fakes - I had somebody try and sell me a "Canim 7d" and then went on to touching up my camera bag and trying to get me to tell them how much...

Exif says the camera was at 22 degrees, earlier images (that were fine) were 18 degrees. A friend who was with me with his 5d mkII, shooting at high iso and long exposures had no issues though?

I went out last night to give star trails a go. When i finished i looked at some of the images. Towards the end of the images some of them had these weird lines across them. You can see them gradually appear towards the end of the set, but one image might have the lines, the next image might not...

I'm very fortunate enough to have a press pass for the event. I'd love to see a course layout released before the event though to gauge where the best places to be will be though. I personally love James Gasgcoignes drifting pictures (i know he's on here somewhere too), here's some of his drift...

Exactly what i wanted to know :thumbs: Thankyou John! I'm always careful with the suction cups and i appreciate that you wouldn't use them as a detailer. Which is why I went for the manfrotto suction cups. A quick wipe with speed detailer afterwards and you wouldn't of known that a suction...

I know its a big no no to use a rig setup with suction cups on a car that has had a recent paint job. But how long should you leave it before you can safely use a camera rig without damaging the paint? Cheers, Paul.

Most hotels i have been in have a safe. Mind you, my 5d mk2 goes everywhere with me. I wouldn't leave it in the hotel room at all to be honest
