    Stage photography with non-professional lighting

Thanks for your answers (well, mostly!). I should have said that I had no control over the lighting and shooting raw wasn't an option. I agree with the consensus, my camera is good enough to leave the ISO on auto and I could have shot wide open. Cheers.

    Stage photography with non-professional lighting

Hi all, I've just completed a weekend of dance photography at a school, and wondered if anyone has tips on how to cope with non-professional stage lighting. Here it was very dark towards the wings of the stage (which was a school hall floor) and virtually spot-lit in the centre. It didn't...

Behind the goal cameras and how to trigger them?

I have Yongnuo 602's and am well pleased with them, much cheaper than pocket wizards too. Yes, there is a lot of rubbish to sort through, but it's pretty easy and quick to pick the good ones out, or those that might be good. Preston Football Photographer Wanted

No offence taken. Nice to see Stoconians have kept their sense of humour...having gone up there to see County's last two games in the league for a while that's going to be in short supply.

    To fire a remote camera

It needs to be fired from a camera, so I can catch the same action from different angles.

    To fire a remote camera

Not too unusual hopefully. I do football games and want to set up a remote camera behind the goal and shoot from the sideline. Will I need just 1 transmitter and 1 receiver?

    To fire a remote camera

OK, having done a little research any shutter speed restrictions will only relate to off camera flash and the RF-602s seem to stack up well against the pricey PWs. Will I need any extra cables (for Canon 1D) or do they come with the package? Thanks again.

    To fire a remote camera

Thanks Mark. I didn't know about those. What are the main differences, do you know? I should have said I will need the shutter speed to be faster than 1/500. Col

    To fire a remote camera

Hi everyone, I just want to be clear on what I need to fire off a remote camera (50 yards away) when I trigger the shutter release on a hand held camera. Will two Pocket Wizard Plus II transceivers do the job? Thanks, Col
