Can anyone recommend a mono bath B&W developer ?

There’s cinestill df96, I’ve not used it however. Is there a reason you want mono bath rather than a traditional developer and fix?

    Ilford Delta or HP5 ?

My experience with both is that delta is fussier about correct exposure, hp5 seems to be less demanding, so I’d go with the hp5 first. I tend to use HP5+ whenever I want a faster film, but go for delta 100 rather than FP4 for a slower one.

    Where to source parts

Thanks, I figured I’d be looking out for one that’s got some other fault, I’ll email Miles Whitehead on the off chance he has a box full of bits knocking around.

    Where to source parts

Hello all, Being a klutz this morning I managed to drop my Olympus XA, it has cracked the base plate where the clamshell cover retracts making it loose. I’d like to fix it as it’s one of my favourite cameras. Does anyone know a good place to get spares for old cameras, other than eBay? Thanks!

    Darkroom chemicals online?

I have bought online from Ag Photographic, and in person from Nova, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend either of them.

    Firstcall ProductFocus Spring 2010

Interesting to see the Legacy pro there, rumor has it they're just rebadged fuji neopan 400 and arcos 100, will have to give some a go at those prices!

    cross processing print as slide

I believe so, but you'll end up with the orange base still preventing any projection, and could be a pain in the jenk with scanning. Cross processing is generally done with transparency film in c41 chemicals.

    IR Film Photography

For recommendations, I like Rollei's IR 400, it's sensitive to 820nm, so quite a lot further into IR land than Ilford's SFX200, easy to process (standard b&w chemicals), and reasonably priced (~£6.50/36exp 35mm roll). You don't have to use a special filter with IR film, but it's a waste of money...

    120 Colour Film

As far as I'm aware, Astia 100f is going to continue to be manufactured in Japan, however I don't think it's going to be imported and distributed over here unless someone other than Fuji sorts that out.

    120 Colour Film

It's a similar thing to Kodak's VC and NC, pro160s is less saturated and more for skin tones, 160c is more saturated and better for landscapes. I personally like them both, and 400h, but I generally go for fuji rather than kodak.

    Anyone from Cornwall

St Mawes and Portscatho are nice places, worth a visit but not a huge amount to do there really so wouldn't budget spending whole days there. Working your way down from there you have Helford Passage which is very pretty and has some nice pubs (The Ferryboat Inn is good, as is the Trengilly...

Anybody wants to split film purchase

No worries either way, if no one does I'll probably get 20 for myself, it'll get used anyway :)
