Man Convicted Of Taking Pictures Of Women Without Consent

Or how about NOT....from the Beeb's report...."Mr Kelly said: "Mr Lawrence is 45 years old with an unblemished record"". Again from Beeb..."Oil worker Andrew Lawrence admitted a breach of the peace by taking the shots without the women's permission for his sexual gratification"....this goes...

Man Convicted Of Taking Pictures Of Women Without Consent

I've read through the various news reports of this (and yes wholeheartedly agree that the quality has been shoddy at best) but can find no real information on the actual offence committed (if any?). I think this sets a weird precedence.....without descending into overly graphic detail if you...

Man who took 70,000 photos of women in Aberdeen placed on sex register

So for anyone who hasn't seen this page on the beeb website BBC PAGE. While I don't want to open a can of worms with the "sexual gratification" part of the story my basic understanding of photography laws is that when you are in a public thoroughfare you have no level of expectation of...

Glasgow has the best buildings in Scotland...Merchant city will give you lots to go on.....try the financial part of the city (Blythswood Sq.) if you like that stuff. If you fancy any...

Glencoe - What must not be missed

Hi Carl, Lots of others have given good suggestions for Skye and Glencoe so I won't rehash those but have you thought of anywhere else other than the Science Centre in Glasgow? If you want to give more details of what your are looking for on the thread or PM me I could maybe help? If I can...

    PANAMOZ.

I have bought a couple of things from Panamoz in the past and have defended them in the past when people (usually with no dealing of the company) have bad-mouthed them. So basically a +1 from me.

    The 2012 Season F1 Thread

So you can overtake off the track (Vettel) and regularly drive off it as part of your normal racing line each lap (Alonso). Let's just forget the rules (or only apply them to the drivers who Jean Todt likes) and play bumper cars eh? F1 is getting worse and worse for selective viewing of...

What is a photography club for?

I looked into joining one to get back to using film in the hope that there would be a darkroom/developing solutions. I was told by one in very short order "No...why don't you use digital they are much better" when I suggested that film was every bit as good and can sometimes be better at...

    The 2012 Season F1 Thread

The London F1 thing was purely a publicity stunt....the webpage cannot even report the correct country of origin of the bank in question so I wouldn't put any faith in that. Bernie would say the moon was made of green cheese if he thought it would generate publicity and/or income.
