    Mesh Computers...

Oh, well if you're going to fiddle with it every five minutes  Seriously, thanks, I didn't envisage doing that, or moving it much.

    Mesh Computers...

I've often wondered about building my own computer but I must admit to never thinking about the case. What is the reason for having a solid case, surely it's just going to sit there and stop the cat from sleeping on all the bits. Or am I missing something important (a regular occurrence I can...

    What makes a good photographer

It depends who is making the assertion that a photographer is good and by what standard they are judging I think. Here I'm average at best, on another (non photography related) forum I'm lauded for my 'stunning' images. In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

    Photographing Books

Hi Vadigor I've had good lighting results just laying the book flat on the floor by a full length window (french window). Providing the sun isn't shining directly through it and no nasty shadows it works fine. No colour correction required either.

'Give away of the day' are offering a free to download copy of uMark Professional 1.3. It is only available until tomorrow (18 Jan 09) morning so be quick if you want it. I've given it a quick tryout and it seems to do what it says on the tin. Follow the installation instructions to the letter...

    Please critique my first website

Get rid of ALL the links, why help people to leave your site? Otherwise I think Hacker has covered the other points I can find. Good luck with the business.

    ALL photographers are perverts

Or possibly the small rough ex miners dishing out a bit of instant justice?

    Screen grab

[Press the PRTSCRN button (without CTRL/ALT), click START, type mspaint and press enter, then press CTRL/V, accept the message asking if you want to increase the canvas size. Edit and save as required format. Job done. Works a treat for me but after clicking START I have to click on RUN then...

    Photography and Memory...

    2. Yes 3. Apart from acting as a memory, looking back through old photographs can prompt one to recall other things associated with the photograph.
