    I use it on a 50D, you may lose some of the wideness, but you still have a cracking lens on there. Works great as a walkabout, I haven't taken it off in 4 months!

    I'll try cleaning the lens mount - everything else you mentioned ive tried. Thanks though! It happened first with my sigma 150 - 500 but it also happens with my 28mm and my 70-200mm f4.
