Location Lighting with Joe McNally - London - July 23rd

For those who missed it this was an awesome seminar. Joe McNally's style as a lecturer and his wealth of experience make this a great day of training with some laughs along the way. Even if you've read his books and watched his videos on Kelby Training it's still a great experience to watch a...

    US Car Hire

Recently used Alamo for a one-way hire from San Francisco to Las Vegas, cost about £380 for everything (insurances etc) and that was for a Nissan Xtrail or similar so would expect it to be a couple hundred more at least for a Mustang. They do have a pickup location on Bush Street in San...

Do you sharpen when output from Lightroom?

I'd suggest contacting Blurb and ask their advice, each lab/provider will probably apply different levels of sharpening to your images depending on the output so worth asking them first. I'm planning to put together a photobook through them so will be contacting them about this.

I would recommend you check out Victoria Brampton's (aka The Lightroom Queen) excellent eBook 'Adboe Lightroom - The Missing FAQ for details on options, it's £14.95 and is packed full of howto's in lightroom. As Pete says, store the catalog and images on the external hard drive and either...

    iPhone 3g apps

I just bought Camerbag a few days ago and it's a great app that makes the camera functionality fun and somewhat useable. Note2Self is great for voice notes.

Apple iphone 3G **HELP** last question before i buy...

Sounds like you've got a shoddy example there, I've not experienced any of those problems with my iPhone 3G (though I've only been using it 2.5 weeks). 3G connection has been good (where its available) and I've even managed to get phone service with 02 in places I've not had service before with...
