Hello all! I am considering getting a coffee machine type thing. mainly for coffee for me, and hot chocolate for the wifer. Does anybody have any experience of the Tassimo, or Senseo, or any others? Are there any to avoid? I was thinking about the Tassimo T20? Thanks

Hey Charlie, As standard, it is unlikely that you will get the results you want from a 50 or 55-250mm. The 50mm 1.8 has a minimum focusing distance of 600mm. It is possible to use extension tubes with a "normal" non-macro lens. These can provide some very good results, although I don't...

From scratch, I have bought the following for £620. Canon 40D - used 50mm 1.8 Lens - new 55-250IS - used Tamrac System 3 Bag - new Compact Flash Card - new For £500, I would have probably bought the same lenses, but bought a used 450d instead.

If £400 is your budget for everything, I personally would go for: Canon 20D from ebay = £175 to £200. Canon 18-55IS Lens = £60, from on this very forum. Canon 55-250 IS Lens = £130, Used, from here or ebay. This would leave a small amount for a CF card. Keep an eye out on here or ebay...
