Can you confirm specifically what version it is you're using? When you say view the RAW files do you mean "view in DPP" or "view the RAW files as images in windows explorer"?

Look at the Canon 760D, you can get it with kit lenses or forego the kit lens and get a long focal length superzoom perhaps.
