so i decided to rent a nikon 24-70 2.8 to practice with and planned a fun little family shoot with my cousin and her family. we were planning on starting around 3:30 ish and my plan was to work in some of the nicely shaded areas and then maybe get some nice sunset light.... well they just called...

well on amazon I can get the full version of 3 for abour $83 after shipping and 4 I only looked at the full version straight from Adobe for $149 thats the download.... It just seems like since its new to me why not save the $66... but you have a lot of good points

My question is is there any reason I shouldnt buy lightroom 3 instead of 4.... I am pretty new to photography and think buying 3 cheaper now and then upgrading when the time comes would work better for me....any downsides to this?
