I'm with hacker on this one except I don't get my rocks off with animal porn, or do I, humans are animals aren't we. Put the web cam back Hacker & enjoy your wildlife filming until...

    Battery woes.

I had the same problems as you describe Wayne, I was at that time using Jessops nimh's and a cheap fast charger, all these batteries are now in the bin. I got new ones (cheap as well) from 7 day shop along with a smart charger & all is well now -oh joy.

    Carrying a camera

Have a look at Think Tank Photo, they have a system for carrying the camera on shoulder straps instead of the neck, I have the backpack 360 rotation & the pixel racing harness & they work really well. The op-tech straps also make life a lot more comfy...

Gimbals - Help needed...lots of it

Heavy it is,but how it compare with others I don't know. I use it on my monopod also & find it brilliant, it makes carrying a bit difficult but we have to make some allowances.

Gimbals - Help needed...lots of it

Not tried the CB head but I do use the wimberley which I would not change, well made, perfect balance & smooth as cream to use, if prices are all in one ball park then for my money - go for the wimberley.
