Agree - I would never think of him in the same vein as Jimmy Carr etc... most of his jokes IIRC were pretty tame and its simple, if there were any 'bad ones' dont read them out!

Age related stuff - missed 3 deliveries of razor blades as had to be 18 to sign for (safety razor). They are for my son who is 17. I get the fact that they dont want 15yo buying hunting knives easily, but people of 16 or so do shave!

People can argue all they like about EVs but the facts are that oil has a limited lifespan, there is a strong case for alternative methods for transport (be it electric, hydrogen or something else). The UK will have to follow what the rest of the world do - we cant have a Betamax v VHS scenario...

Same argument can be used for many things - heat pumps, the old (or maybe current I dont know) government scrape scheme for old cars, people who heat homes with oil...
