Did you send the lens in the post I take it? The first thing I would do is phone them and let them know the situation as soon as possible, the longer you leave it before making contact again the more deniability they have. See what they say and have a look at further action after that.

I've been having a look at these things and was wondering if they're any good. Obviously the more stuff you put in front of the lens the worse the image quality is going to be. However, i have one of these for my LX-3 and it works a charm.
So i thought i'd tap the collective TP knowledge and...
The 7D is a very capable sports shooter, but like most camera's you need to put a good lens in front of it to get consistently good shots. That and a good eye for a photo of course. But if you've got a 1D mk4 then I'd probably just use that, its as good as it gets !!
Well, thank you Gary! I spoke to Lammy Paul about an hour after you posted that and bagged myself a charger. A really nice guy too. Thanks for all the help.

Hey, I've recently got a deal on a canon 1D Mk2 BUT it came without a charger. I know the Canon replacement ones are like £200+ but I was hoping there was either a third party charger or a bodge that works.
I've tried using the search button but apparently the terms 1D and MK2 are too short ...
Being a beginner myself and having had a look round and pestered quite a few people a canon 28-135 does he trick for me, its got a good range for a walk about lens.
Obviously other people have used different things and that work for them, but the 28-135 worked for me.
Cheers
I have the Kata 3n1-20 and it fits my canon 30D, 28-105, 50mm 1.4 and 70-200 F4, it has space for all of these plus nice wee pocket in the top for your lunch. Its also useful because it can be a sling for either side or a backpack with a support belt.
I've wanted a Macbook for ages but simply cant justify the cost over my acer with 8GB of ram. Though the hinge is creaking a bit, the main reason i think i'll eventually switch is when i break my acer, they dont seem to be that well made..
I would maybe try the Yongnuo ones from Ebay, they are pretty cheap for the TTL models and mine seems to work pretty well. Its all depends on your budget of course
