I have just sold my Canon 6D for a Nikon D7100.......... I love it!! Before that i had a Canon 60D and i have to say i really wish i had moved to Nikon sooner :/

6D only does 1/4000th which may cause u an issue shooting wide, AF is not great, the space between the points may cause you to focus on the wrong part of the animal and on areas of low contrast the outer point struggle to focus (speaking from experience, just sold 6D for D7100), bearing in mind...

So why make weather sealed bodies?

That's an interesting point! Although I see plenty of Nikon lenses at wet football games ;)

Just had a play and picked the 28-105 it doesn't state if its weather sealed!

So I have to search every lens to see if its weather sealed! That's backwards why not just denote the high end lenses with a letter something!

So I have moved from Canon to Nikon recently, I'm well aware of Canons L lens line up and that most are weather sealed with or without a filter on the front. I'm a little confused about the Nikon line up, I think I understand the difference in AF and AF-s but I'm not sure about the difference...

I have just bought the D7100 and a 50mm 1.4G for street........ i cannot wait :p

not enough focal range and i have a prime for low light, albeit not as wide as 18mm ;) true :)
