I personally think, what makes a good photographer, is a desire to improve. the more you improve the better you get.

Not sure how acurate the display is on a D60 (I used to have a D50 and that seemed quite inacurate at times) but set the mode to raw, and then look in the screen, it will give you an estimate of how many shots you can take. for example. My fuji s5 pro, gives me 170 Raw shots on one 4gig card.
