    7D spare battery needed

They're Lithium aren't they? I don't know how reliable this source is, but http://www.mpoweruk.com/lithiumS.htm claims ... "No liquid electrolyte means they are immune from leaking." So leaky third party batteries is another made up internet "fact" ;) Over a similar timeframe, I've had...

    Android phones

I love my Desire. I chose it over the Galaxy simply on price though. The Galaxy has a slightly bigger and possibly slightly better screen, plus a lot more built in memory. The Desire is built better and of course has that lovely Sense UI. The only issue I have is that I run out of internal...

    Stolen Photo from Oulton Park

Again, I'm really not bothered about getting paid here ... which makes it worse really! The whole issue started from an email in which I simply asked for credit. Adding my name below the photo would have taken care of it, but it seems that was too much to ask. I resize my images to 604 on...

    Stolen Photo from Oulton Park

That's where the trouble started ... I sent a friend request - she accepted, stole my photo, then deleted me ... lol!

    Stolen Photo from Oulton Park

I really don't like watermarks - I think they ruin my work. Again, I'm not the one doing wrong so why should I have to suffer? I'm not interested in getting any money out of her either. All I want is credit for my work. I'm just really pee'd off at her response to my request for credit. I...

    Stolen Photo from Oulton Park

I put my stuff on FB to share with my friends. I shouldn't have to stop doing that for any reason - I'm not the one breaking the law.

    Stolen Photo from Oulton Park

Well, it finally happened to me. A photo of Sir Stirling Moss I took at Outon Park has been lifted from my Facebook page and used on Ruth's Racy Adventures. I sent a message asking for credit and received a rather rude response telling me to "save your drama for somebody who knows who you...

    Homemade Fat Balls for birds?

I use a 50/50 mix of suet & lard, add a load of peanut butter and then as much seed as the mix will take. They disappear a lot faster than any pre-made ones I've ever tried :)

    Up-and-coming photographers (BBC)

Ooh I really like those, thanks for picking them out. Somebody dropped a comment about there being no such thing as artistic mis-focus. I deliberately mis-focus all the time. Maybe that makes me crazy but at least now I know I'm not alone :)

    Is it just me............

Sorry, didn't realise there was a deadline! ;) What with going back to work on Tuesday, and making sure all my backups are up to date due to one of my disks starting to show signs of failure, I've barely started sorting out the keepers. If you're (un?)lucky I might get something posted before...

    Well done PeteMC

Well done! I love The Big Picture. Always top quality photography on there and I was pleasantly surprised to see Liverpool mentioned. Even better that it's Pete.

Metering will work fine on a Canon body.

How the hell do you do a website?!?!?!?!?!?

Sorry Matt, not been online much today. Have sent some instructions to help you get started uploading files with ftp, and how to install Gallery. Sounds scary but it's all pretty straightforward.

Canon vs Nikon (not the usual argument)

Not that old manual glass is likely to be a selling point, but ... Canon cameras don't work with old manual focus Canon lenses (there is an adapter available but it isn't cheap and adds another piece of glass to the equation to achieve infinity focus, so I wouldn't bother). Canon cameras...
