I have one - bought it second hand and it is a nice bit of kit. As I am sure others will tell you on the forum it is all about getting a sharp copy. I was lucky and managed to.
I am no expert on civil law but are you sure that they have to sell it at that price if they advertise it as such. I was sure, as already said, that this is just and invitation to purchase and not a binding contract? Any solicitors on the forum can offer a (free ) opinion?
Gary,
What a cracking thread this is. I can't wait to see the pics. Have a look at the links in the following post which may assist in some of your planning for light and locations in the Torridon area.
Good luck...
There was an article in Professional Photographer during the course of the year which went into this very same thing. I can't put my hands on it at the moment but a quick google might help you locate a back issue.
Nice one - make sure you post loads of pictures on the forum and keep us all updated with your travels. I am jealous as hell as I love this type of travelling!!
Happy landings.

I agree with the second hand route. Either from the for sale bit on this forum or http://www.mpbphotographic.co.uk/index.php who advertise here - you won't go far wrong.
I often thought I should get some insurance for my photography. You know just in the event somebody tripped over something I left around and needed an amazing amount of surgery or need a year to recover one of my photo shoots. So being a responsible photographer type I got some.
This evening...
I use the pantone huey, also keep the lighting the same in your room with daylight bulbs if you can.
Colour confidence are a good outfit and will offer you lots of help.
I also use loxley printers on the net and my prints always match up to the screen.
