I use Lightroom 4 but seem to be struggling to get decent results, this is my attempt with a shot from yesterday-

I have put he RAW file in this link and wonder if what i have got is the best or should i be doing better...
Didn't take a camera with me as wasn't confident of getting in, security was after the turnstyles and spotted many DSLRs in the crowd including one guy in a Steelers shirt with a 60D and a 100-400. :-)
Did a day at Brands Hatch a couple of weeks ago, left the IS in Mode 1 on my 100-400, ended up with a couple of cards full of garbage. Schoolboy error :-(
Went to Brands Hatch today for the Bemsee meeting, used my 100-400 IS all day and made the schoolboy error of leaving IS on mode 1. End result a few hundred useless shots. :'(
Whilst i'm here, RIP Karl-Heinz Kalbfell whose horrific accident happened right in front of me.
Ben - I have just received my first canvas by your good selves, thanks very much it is absolutely superb. the quality is top draw.

So glad i found this thread. had the same problem and decided to go down the clean with alcohol route, worked a dream with no problems. saved me a load of money, Thanks
