Well your memory card is going to be a must, not going to do a lot with the camera without one
For what it's worth, I would rather have a few small cards, say 5 or 6 3gig cards that a couple of big ones (8gig).
That way, if during a shoot one of my cards fails (never happened yet) I will...
It was only a matter of time till someone caught on to my plan :whistling:
On a serious note, thanks again for all your comments, it does help.
My friends have been amazing.
All I have wanted to do it sit around and feel sorry for myself but they haven't let me.
I'm sure they are taking it...
I know :D
I couldn'f believe it when I read the manual (yes, a bloke that will read the manual :cuckoo: ).
And on top of all of that , apparently it is compatible with some pentax lenses
Thank you all for your comments folks.
I really really really do appreciate the time you have taken.
I have always known they are a good bunch, I guess I didn't know how good.
I have asked them all round this weekend for some food and a few beers and I am going to save the first photo on the...
Cheers for that.
I will check out the link when I'm not so tired
They wouldn't let me get dinner but they didn't put up a fight when I got a round of drinks in.
Cheers for the comments all.
I don't know as I will use the camera just yet as I'm not sure what I would want to take photos of, but it's nice to know I can if I want to.
They really are a amazing bunch of friends....
When I finaly managed to get some words out, the only thing I could think to do was make a joke...
"You could have at least done your homework and got me a canon"
They burst out laughing but I did get a chocolate cake thrown at me!
Hi all,
I have just been through/am still going through a really crap point in my life.
I'm not going to talk about it because it is still really hard for me to do so without feeling like I am falling apart.
But....
Out of what I can only describe as my life falling apart, something...
I will give nero 9 a vote.
I think I paid £60 for the downloadable version.
It really is feature packed and very simple to use.
I say that, I have been using Nero for years and years but I'm sure it is simple to pick up and play
Cheers for that folks.
Well I guess that's decided then.
As I'm renting the lens for now I will go for the Canon 100mm but if I do decide to buy I will look into the sigma.
But the question is, what lens to go for?
I think I am going to rent one from Lensesforhire.co.uk as I have rented a few from them before and they are mint.
The 2 that I am considering are:
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro
I don't think that during my...
