ive used a trusty (lol) ebay flash trigger with my 430, seems to work ok. used it to get this affect

ive got a tamrac EX5, it takes a beating, loads of pockets and fits my 30d, lenses and 580ex in nice and snug with space to spare. i did have a Lowpro slingshot 100aw before the tamrac but just out grew it. it did fit my 30d with a 17-70 lens and a 430 flash, plus it had a few pockets for CF...
