No seats left, im afraid 75 lucky people at only a tenner! however i cant say...i dont think its really secret but landlord doesnt want a billion people turning up obviously!
Anyway you can buy some photos after if you like!lol
Basically ive been asked to shoot in a pub i know the owner of tomorrow night!
The standup comedian on is Rhod gilbert! Obviously the pub will use the photos for themselves and will let me do what i want with them aswell! however if they are good will they be sellable? and where does one sell...
Ive just taken hold of a sigma 70-200 f2.8 but not the os version! using it on my 5d and so far it rocks although i havent used on anything worth talking about yet! nice images even with the sigma 2x converter on.
If its motorsport go for the macro version, its cheaper and due to the high shutterspeeds youll be using that will cancel any movement from your hands anyway!
plus its lighter and ive found i can use some lighter lens without image stabilisation better then a heavy but with os lens!
I suggest...
I just had the same exact problem,i wanted a 200 2.8 for weddings etcetc however i wanted something bigger for motor sport! im now awaiting the sigma 70-200 and 2x converter!
The lens was 549 from amazon!
I had the money for a canon second hand 70-200 but i figured all these things about...
Yeah ive read that, not as good as the canon but still they are good!
I think ive settled on the non os version of the sigma at £550ish its a bargain and i could do with the spare money! I hope im not let down but before the 5d i had a d80 with a tamron super zoom! so anything is going to make...
So for my £1000 budget i can get various differnt 70-200 f2.8 lenses.
after much reading as we expect the canon wins everytime but i cant find a test of the canon 70-200 f2.8 is mark 1 vs the new sigma 70-200os lens!
They both come in at the £1000 mark however the canon is older and more...
+1 for jessops when buying a 5d mark ii with 24-105kit lens and 2 580ex speedlights!
I rang round sever shops in my area bouncing from one to another with the prices jessops won. i spoke with the manager and also got him to chuck in a 8gb sandisk extreme!
mind you the lot came to £2900 but...
just found one in a online shop, if you click buy it brings up a price of £399 jeeze that seems steep but take a look if your intrigued like i am

this one is however a nikon fit
Just looking through some old olympus gear and found a lens i bought way way back in 2000.
its a 70-210 vivitar series 1 to fit olympus. f2.8 and the Qdos system thats the red blue 3d images youve seen in magazines etcetc.
Also has macro. its in really decent condition and got me wondering...
Ive pretty much decided ill get a 70-200 2.8 might wait a bit for prices to drop but i fancy a 2.8 for the speed! spent too many years knocking around with f5.6 and struggling in situations!
thanks for all your help guys! i knew the 70-200 was the one i just get excited by 300mm and 400mm. have...
only talking about the L stuff.
i sort of the know the perfect glass is the 70-200 f2.8 but its not long enough for motorsport really and not wide enough to compensate for the lack of high zoom for what i do!
the 100-400 f4.5 isnt really fast enough but fits nicely into the price bracket.
would the 28-300 lens be able to beat my 28-105 on my canon 5d mark 2?
i love the idea of 28-300mm and i feel my kit lens isnt giving me enough range! but im not sure what to buy! if the 28-300 was the same size as the 28-105 id buy it now and sell the 105 but im not sure if you can live with...
