    THE PP GAME!

First time playing this, so had a quick 15 minutes! :-) I liked the shadows, but felt the blandness of the sky was a loss to the image. So, in Raw, generated two versions of the image, 1 at about -3 EV to bring back the detail from the original sky and another exposed for the girl...

Holiday in Spain - take the camera?

My standard carry-on bag holds D700& grip, 14-24 and 70-200 lenses, small laptop, kindle fire HD and a quantity of memory cards. Monopod goes in the hold case. I've carted that lot across the atlantic times beyond count with work, as well as many shorter trips. It's been tramped round...

What compact camera do you use?

    Kit storage

I have 6 pelicases, four large ones with studio kit in, a medium one which is my 'wedding' box ( they're great for weddings, get everything in, they have wheels so easy to transport, and strong enough to jump on for some extra height if needed) and a small one too. Also large tamrac backpack...

    Wedding Kit Nikon

I find the Nikon 24-70 is my default lens for wedding work, and very happy with it. Second body will usually have either the 85mm 1.4 mounted or (less often) the 70-200 2.8. If I 'had' to lose one, I'd lose the 70-200. A 14-24 is about to go into the bag too. Full-frame has proven to be a...
