Update
I’ve emailed ON1 photo with the error code and within 10 minutes of logging the error they have come back and said that this something that they are aware of and are trying to find a patch to fix. Must say impressed with there prompt reply.
PhilH I’m trying to create a preset in the export tab, there is drop down box that allows you to (or should allow) import a printer profile. Ive tried to set this up on a new MacBook pro & I still get the same arrow message.
Thanks Dave in the presets it does give you the option to import a profile. I use DS Colour labs and in the past I have used there profile with good results. My only option may be to stick with ON1’s profile which is sRGB and see how the prints come back. Thanks
Evening I wonder if any of you can help, I’m struggling being able to import a printer profile into ON1 Photo Raw it keeps coming up with error code 516 when I click on import. I have download the profile onto the hard drive into the relevant folder but still struggling. Any help would be...
Just moved from LR to ON1 Raw 2019, still early days edited my first lot of images yesterday, so far so good. Slightly different mindset to using LR but all the same happy with my decision so far.
Thanks for the reply the deeper I get into this the more confusing it seems to be getting . Have clicked on the link it sort of makes sense I will have a play next time I save some images.
Do you use save as or export as?
Does it in the grand scheme of things make a difference?
i have noticed that if you save an image by clicking Export As vs Save As the file size is considerably bigger when using the Export method. Can anyone please explain why this is the case. Thanks in advance.
I feel your pain, I had the same image done in 2 sizes a 24x16 and a 10x8. The 24x16 came back as it was displayed on the computer (27" Mac) the 10x8 was dull & washed out. After speaking wth DS colour lab they have explained to me that the printer that prints the 24x16 image is a different...
StuartR thanks for your help I have gone back to the start & resaved & uploaded. Not sure if I have done something wrong or if it was a glitch computer/site but I now believe it looks as it it should. I'm going to take a gamble & get it printed. As I said at the start this is all new to me so...
