I'd take into consideration what friends and family have. Get recommendations from them. All of my closest friends have Nikon equipment so borrow lenses from them if I need to. One thing I find though is canon zoom lenses are a lot cheaper than Nikon.

I'll definitely be interested in this lens. What a great all purpose lens it would be.

I borrowed a friends 18-200mm, was more than sufficient.

I'm gonna try taking it to Real Camera Co in Manchester, see if they can do anything with it. If not guess I'll be on the look out for a new lens

Tried a rubber, still not working. I think there might be a problem with the aperture stick as it doesn't seem to go all the way back to its normal position :-( I don't want to force it.

No aperture ring. I've tried cleaning the contacts with a microfibre cloth and that's not done anything. I've tried my Lens on my d90 body and nothing :-(

Hi, I was at Soccer Aid last night and my Lens suddenly got an error after taking a picture. It's not been dropped, dinged etc. I tried taking it off and reseating it but nothing. Camera body was my backup nikon D60. Body seems to be ok as had no problem with my Nikon 18-105. Can anyone...

Turned up about 5.20pm, typical when u wait in all day to play with a new toy. As above the flash has just a few surface scratches but boxed with all accessories. Very happy with the purchase. :D

Hope mine gets delivered today as I'm in to play with it. Out of curiosity which Courier are they sent with?
