    Canon G11 - scratches lens

The effect on the photos is very little in many photos, but with a wide aperture, and facing anywhere near a light source (usually the sun) it causes so much flare the pictures are pretty much unusable. I think I'm going to give the black ink job a go. It makes sense to me. As you say, there...

    SanDisk Real or Fake?

If it works, I'd try not to worry too much. But I'd also say.... Buy from proper, reputable dealers to reduce the chance of fakes.

    Canon G11 - scratches lens

This has happened to me before. In fact, twice before. The front element of the lens of my G11 has a small (but significant) vertical scratch on it. This same thing (vertical scratch) happened to a G9 and a previous G11. At £150 it's not economically sensible to get the lens replaced and...

    Range of lens for canon

I don't think that any of the big brands have any lenses you could call bad. Even the humble kit lens will give pretty good results. So don't worry too much about it.

    Camera for drifting....

You need something without any shutter delay. So it'll have to be a dSLR I'd say. You won't have masive choice with £200 but something like a Canon 350D (or the Nikon equivalent) with a kit lens should be possible.

    Range of lens for canon

I'd say: 24 - 70 L 2.8 and 70 - 200 L 2.8 and maybe something very wide. However I reckon the two mentioned will get you through 99% of anything you need to do.

    Womans lens for a D600

I understand that, but I'm not sure that even the heaviest lens is to heavy for a woman to carry/use. I suppose that if you want really light you could look at a nifty-fifty. Great quality and very, very light.

    usb / data cable

I would imagine you'd get one almost anywhere. Tescos might be a good place to start. Usually one quite close and open 24 hours. Or if you can wait a few days, get one on line.

    Womans lens for a D600

Can I ask - Why does a woman's lens have to be so light? Can't they just use the same lens as a man?

    Too much lens choice ?

You need to make sure that you're not just buying lenses for the sake of collection lenses - unless of course you want to collect lenses. I think you should stick to fast L series lenses if you're keen on quality and worried about street cred. In my case, I've got a Canon 24 - 70mm f2.8 L, a...
