    Anyone else in FP4party?

Good to visit, of course I was aware of Workhouses but to see it in person is something else. Some of the history is a little too close though, they were still housing homeless families (due to domestic violence etc) there until the early 80's. The current children's home (for young people with...

My Chroma Click - impressions and review

From what I've seen of the Click (more than I've posted currently) I'm considering one of his 120 cameras that can accept my Mamiya Press lens & shutter. Quality is stunning on the Click and that seems to be across anything that Steve/Chroma make.

My Chroma Click - impressions and review

Note: I purchased this camera at full price. Background - I purchased a Lomo MC-A and returned it as faulty for a full refund after shooting the first roll. I then wanted another brand new 35mm camera and ruminated on something like a H35N or Snapic A1. I saw on the Chroma thread that they had...

    Kodak Cresta 2

I suppose you could use it like your auntie did - click and see what comes out? Mind you I doubt she would have an ISO film that high and possibly not even into 3 figures. A lot of modern film will have a wide exposure latitude but you are bound to get some with the wrong exposure if you go...

    Film in Boots

Good to hear. When C41 was in short supply (3 or 4? years ago) I got 3 rolls of 35mm from one of their larger shops. It wasn't particularly cheap but for small quantities it wasn't too bad taking into account postal charges from online sellers. Yes, I usually do a big online order to bring down...

Well it's been a trial the last 5 days trying to get the bellows component onto the horizontal arm but I got there! I was struggling to find the correct setting that disengages the locking pin and the manual wasn't any help. Unconventional methods were required - I removed the machined...

    Focus Scope

Sounds good to me and a tenner is value. As you say it sounds durable. They only really have 2 settings working or not working!! Plus you never need to put fresh batteries in:)

    Focus Scope

Surprised me too the first time I used one. Which one have you gone for? I need to purchase one, probably used.

The 5x4 enlarger has been retrieved from the garage with bonus that some of the excess timbyer has been stored in the garage loft until it's needed. Who'd have thought that moving a huge enlarger would free up space! I started to reassemble the enlarger but have got stuck on how to get the...

I understand a little more what they are now but I'm certain I won't require one. Any device connection will be solely by a 4g SIM router with peripherals possibly by USB from the WiFi connected computer. I won't be digging a 30m+ trench to run an ethernet cable from the house down to the...

Er, being as I don't know what they are the answer is no. I will have a computer via WiFi, if I use my Epson V500 that will be via USB and I think my 3d printer can connect via either. I'm pretty sure my two Meopta enlargers and the big 5x4 enlarger won't require a network connection :)

Hmmn.. ... these excess darkroom & shed building materials have been "temporarily" stored here for 6 weeks. The dust sheet bound item is the enlarger. Being as though we are at school for parents evening at 4pm I'll retrieve it tomorrow!
