    Hey, I did it. New layer (like you said) I flatten the image, opened the background and perspective was available. Now I can do my scewwiff (spelling??) writing I was after. Thank you so much Christine, that helped after all my trail and errors lol.

    I am trying to open a e book cover template but I think I will have to find another template. Dont have the software for screencap. I couldn't find what you meant by a path palette but will have another look. Just thought I would try and learn if I am unsure about anything in PSE. Thank you.

    I have just bought PSE9 and love this website for the beginner http://psd.tutsplus.com/ it is mainly for photoshop but still the tutorials are really useful for element users. Once on the website go to the sessions section then basix.

    Thank you Simmotino, they were mainly e-books on elements and some were paid for book adverts. I did find some help on PSE9 which is great. I was just looking for a straightforward step by step guide because I need to do a 3d cover book.

    I said it was an easy question, I dont know what I was doing but just did what you said and yes it worked (they kept on disappearing even with projects bin open) ha. Sorted my organizer too. Thank you Paul. P.S I am blondish
