    This is the next lens on my list. Heard many good things about it but it can't take an extender, and the tripod mount is very exspensive.

    I've got a 550 as a back up but have never got more than 3fps although I guess its possible. These camera's arn't really built for speed but more for good all round quality.

    Photoshop does it all and its not hard to learn either. Very exspensive though.

    The canon is the better lens but the sigma is not far behind. I have seen stunning insect shots taken with this lens.

    What 70-300 for around £200 (canon)

    Hi I bought a canon 70-300mm is on here for £220 and there's nothing to match it for its quality. Worth waiting a little while until you have the funds. Its sharp and the is is excellent.

    Cheap Walkabout lens

    Hi I've got a 28-135mm canon is lens and its a fantastic walkabout lens. Nice and sharp and very light to carry around. Paid £200 on ebay.

    Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM

    I did'nt like the 75-300mm because it was slow and soft but recently bought the 70-300mm is and its just awesome. I would honestly put it on par with my 70-200 L f4. Also its light and easy to carry on long trips.
