X-T1 back from Fuji with new Sensor and faux leather covering. Couldn't wrangle a new LCD out of them sadly (it is only a tiny scratch after all!). Here's to another 8 years of abuse!

Nuts. Guess I better get it off to Fuji then. It could use a little tune up in other areas too I suppose, it has had 7 years of hard work! I think I'd cry if I had a GFX fall like that! I was grumpy enough when my X-T2 temporarily decided it wouldn't play ball on a trip to York!

Having a weird issue with my X-T1, may be connected to the bump it got a few weeks back though I can't see how. Basically I have what appears to be a dust bunny, but no matter how much I clean the sensor, it does not go away. I can't even see it on the sensor even with the aid of my 50mm macro...

They messaged me yesterday to say they'd received it, fingers crossed it won't be with them long. Looks an easy repair, as long as it's just the plastic ring that's bust and nothing else inside. FIngers crossed.

Oops. Tripod fell over, landed on L bracket, no damage to body bar a teeny scratch to lcd but 16-55mm mount snapped at the bosses the screws go into. Going off to Fiji ASAP.

How do the ads here work? Back in the day I recall various schemes that were pay per click effectively, so just having an ad visible on your site didn't net you any income at all, it actually had to be used.
