Easy, digi spirit level, manual focus peaking and best of all brilliant EVF, never use screen again, ability to see images/histogram perfectly in view finder in brightest sunlight.

Hi Justin, for simple basic processing which is probably all you'll need right now, so you're not overwhelmed try FASTSTONE, it's a completely free download and works with RAW files too. I use it for quick stuff, see what you think :).

Must agree with the flip out screen, invaluable for macro stuff, my Panasonic Lumix TZ 55 has flip out screen, 16MP and 2 macro modes, close and even closer! Can definitely recommend it, has 20 x optical zoom too, my dad just bought one when he saw mine. Only about £100 now, bargain.
