Just a quick post for anyone who may be interested. My Phottix Odin's will trigger my new lencarta safari 2 flash at 1/8000 with NO banding. I've only done testing indoors so not sure how that will equate to necessary flash power outside using modifiers but the implications are fantastic.
Struggling to get a WFT-E2 II A to work with my 1dmk4. I've tried to connect with both my mifi (original 4G EE huawei black one) and using wifi networks at home. I'm getting to the stage in set up where I enter the ftp details but once that's all done i'm getting:

cheers, it is a once in a lifetime experience but also time off work so don't want to lug cameras everywhere. May decide to just take one lens (24-70 or 50 1.4) on the 5dmk2 and athe x10
Ok guys, going to Bali / Gili Islands in Indonesia for a few weeks in March and thinking about leaving my DLSR behind for the first time and just taking my x10. What do I need to get the most out of the camera? I only use it rarely atm. I have 3 batteries, think i'll get a few more. I've ordered...
Quick update - considering pushing the budget up to £4-6k on finance through Black Horse who seem very reasonable. As such looking at a Seat Ibiza 1.9 FR. It's only 3 door and the boot is about the same as my corsa but I got in one and kinda fell in love! It's got the workhorse 1.9TDI VAG engine...
Does anyone have any suggestions for settings for the camera? Especially in JPEG? Sharpness, DR, noise reduction etc etc? Also is the lens hood and filter ring adaptor worth it?

That's shot at f11 to accentuate it but the dust mark bottom right shows up at all apertures and even on the back lcd before taking a pic. Considering this is literally one of the first shots out of the box it shouldn't even have the rest of the dust..
It's on the sensor then. It shows on the lcd on the back a little whilst taking pic, completely on the taken pic on lcd. Then same on my laptop monitor. It's quite obviously dust on the sensor..
