Anyone ever bought from Octopus Electronics? I can't see a catch....

I was more concerned about delays/import taxes seeing as stuff appears to be coming from HK, paypal doesn't concern me.

    Importing a 50D from USA

Ah yeah good point, forgot about that, have been stung before as well. To be honest, at a second glance, 90% of the super exciting free gifts would just end up cluttering my place up!

    The BBC like my pictures

They could always put the license fee up to pay for the pictures they use? Sure that would go down a storm. Congrats to the OP, I'd be chuffed to see my pics on teh BBC just a few months in.

camera repair manchester - any recs?

They did come up on a search but it took me to an American site, will give them a look. I've tried ringing Stephens but I'm under the impression they are just a Leica specialist and they didn't answer. Could really do without 2 trips to stoke and I don't trust couriers. Thanks :)

    aaaarrrgh... help me please....

BBC Breakfast just had an item on street photography.

missed this which was a shame, i always have BBC Breakfast on in the background normally too. On a similar vein: http://youtube.com/watch?v=VfQrDK9YHas Apologies for the annoying camera man although watch to the end it does get quite amusing watching him push his luck! Just proves even full...

    aaaarrrgh... help me please....

I'm trying to remember the name of something but my mind is frozen... I'm trying to explain the pictures you get that are made up of lots of other pictures, usually in a mosaic type effect. Quite often it will be a portrait of someone made up of 100s of smaller different pictures of them. I...

    Medium format (120) processing

I've just ordered some slide film, it looks amazingly over saturated and wonderful in a wrong way.
