I have that function now, but to me it seems to be only a tad different from the Clarity slider. Not as much as I had expected from people talking about it before it actually arrived. What do others think about it?

I cannot see the Exif either, I'm sorry. But I assume you did not take the picture in RAW, but used the camera-created jpg? If you created the jpg yourself outside the camera, using the in-camera jpg creation may also help. With so much light, a shutter time of 1/125 or 1/250 would be enough...

Andy, I have been told that Canon make their own sensors. So buying Sony sensors would leave their own sensor plants unused - which is probably economically difficult.

Hi Pookeyhead, thanks for responding. I've tried all three exposure modes. I noticed it first in center weighted, but it also happens in matrix mode. I can upload example pictures with pleasure - would RAW or jpg make more sense?

I keep getting the same strange results in that the camera in Shutter Speed mode suggests a value of like 1/1600 to get F8. I take the picture and immediately the values change, to something like 1/800 for F5.6. I go down to that, take another picture, and swoosh, I have to go down to 1/125 to...

A LesPaul sounds very different from a Strat, though, and also the playing is very different with the curved fretboard of the Strat vs. the flat one of the LesPaul (not sure I'm using the proper English term here, but you probably know what I mean) ;)
