    Advice on Karting day!

ummm, i shoot in jpeg normally as there are 40+ karts in each race and the action is fast and furious so I need to be able to capture stuff quickly in a short amount of time. it takes a couple of laps for karts to spread out, at the beginning its crazy! I also never had experience with RAW...

Is just jpeg ok for sports?

Yeah I shoot motorsport with just Fine Jpegs, normal would even do. For example a days coverage of a Uni Karting Race Day, average about 1500 shots and the time to process RAW files would mean missing certain action as it all happens quick!
