    Floodlit Football Training

Thanks for your input guys, much appreciated. That session was cancelled and this week again due to the snow. I did take some at the match last weekend with mixed results. I have a rather old Canon 400D and was using 70-300mm lens, the field had a rather dense fog so I am not sure how much of...

    Floodlit Football Training

Thanks sportpicguy, training was cancelled due to the weather, so didnt manage to get any. It is a good facility with very good lighting so am reasonably hopeful of getting some, albeit it will be evident its dark. Never mind, match day on Sunday so fingers crossed for a clear blue sky frosty day :)

    Floodlit Football Training

Hi I am not exactly new as I have been a reader of the forum on and off for a few years. I have never really got to grips (read easily give up) with anything much beyond automatic mode, or sports/portrait/landscape etc mode. But I have vowed this is my year to challenge myself to produce some...

    Canon 400D need a lens type Q

Thank you, very useful pages. I had almost come to the conclusion/ was hoping it was going to be the age of the lens causing the problem so i thought trying out a new one in the shop with my body would help eliminate that, and get me started too. Thanks again for taking the time to answer.

    Florida camera equipment?

There is a shop that used to be called Circuit City, 7802 South Orange Blossom Trail, but looking on the website it appears to have changed to CompUSA. More like a Comet/Currys?dixons type of shop. Never bought anything but always like a wander if i saw one on our travels.

Off to Florida - but whose the best to go with?? Finally decided on Virgin

No it really isnt any issue at all Sanford, its just me, i like to be off and into hotel asap. In fairness you can often clear customs and pick car up far quicker from Sanford too.

Off to Florida - but whose the best to go with?? Finally decided on Virgin

Indirect isnt ideal and certainly not for me, if you visit the Dibb you will see plenty willing to do it. Plus some people live in locations where they have to do a flight to connect with main flight anyway so choose to do the indirect way, clear customs etc in the tansit city. Personally i am...

Off to Florida - but whose the best to go with?? Finally decided on Virgin

If you dont mind going indirect check out some of the american airlines, delta, united, etc. You will usually get a better price. All depends on what your comfortabl with, booking seperate will 8 times out of 10 work out cheaper, but then you dont get the security when things may go wrong...
